As the name suggests, fruit is freshly squeezed and the juice poured directly into the glass. To optimally preserve the full aroma and all vitamins, freshly squeezed juice has to be consumed right after squeezing or has to be kept chilled for a limited time.
Advantages: The full aroma and vitamins contained in fresh fruit remain intact. “Freshly squeezed” is emotionally perceived as especially valuable and healthy.
Disadvantages: Perfect quality can only be retained for a few hours. It is also highly dependent on the quality of raw materials. Therefore there may be quality fluctuations. Preparation entails high hygienic efforts and is relatively time-consuming. Fruit needs to be transported chilled and uses high transport volume.
